Free Isle of Cumbrae Spirits Tasting

Local favourites, the Isle of Cumbrae Distillers, are back for a fantastic in-store tasting! This is a great opportunity to find out more about this exceptional distillery and taste their award-winning gins, their new Veya Vodka, and their latest whisky release: Stone Lore. They create unique Scottish craft gins, distilled with the highest quality botanicals, reflecting the landscape and flora of the Isle of Cumbrae and their distillery is located in the well-known and much-loved village of Millport. Recently, they've ventured into the world of whisky with two delicious, limited-run Blended Malt Scotch Whiskies, Lion Rock, AND a new Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Stone Lore. Stone Lore began with a wanderer tracing the curve of Millport’s shore with a head full of local tales. It was there that the idea for this whisky took root: a spirit that captures the calm, the curiosity, and the quiet wonder of discovering a place that feels like it’s been waiting for you on an island steeped in folklore and legends. This spirit was crafted with a connection to Speyside. Stone Lore brings together coastal reverie and mainland mastery. The Isle of Cumbrae Distillery was founded by 5 “Millportonians”, one of the few all-female distilling teams in Scotland, and the only international women’s team, drawing representation from the UK, Canada and the USA. In April 2024, the original Fab Five chose to hand over the reins to a new leadership team, Caroline Christie and Struan Fraser, to guide the distillery into a new phase.
