Jon Doran last visited West Kilbride in September 2024 with Janice Burns. He may be best known as a finalist in the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award (2019), but his talents extend far beyond youthful accolades. A gifted singer and multiinstrumentalist, he weaves heartfelt vocals on guitar, violin, and Irish bouzoukievoking centuriesold tales with fresh emotion and musical finesse. Hes joined by Jordan Aikin (whistle & pipes) and Heather Ferrier (accordion) both celebrated for virtuosic performances.
