The McLellan Festival Season Ticket costs 50 and gives access to all of the McLellan Arts Festival events. The McLellan Arts Festival runs from Friday 29th August to Saturday 13th September 2025. The McLellan Arts Festival Programme Friday 29th August: Poetry Winners Gig 2025: Celebrated poet and this years McLellan Poetry Award judge, Jim Carruth, with winners of this years McLellan Poetry competition give you a special night of poetry. Corrie & Sannox Village Hall 7.30pm | 15.00 Friday 5th September: McLellan Sessions:A foot stomping ceilidh evening with The Boathouse Ceilidh Band supported by John Inglis, Agnes McDonald and Alastair Milne. Whiting Bay Hall 7.30pm | 15 Saturday 6th September: Poetry & Music: Corrie & Sannox Village Hall 7.30pm | entry by donation Sunday 7th September: Puccini: Messa di Gloria: Performance of this glorious work conducted by Andrew Nunn of Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Soloists from Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. McLellan Festival Chorus. Community Theatre Arran High School 2.30pm: 15 Monday 8th September: Festival Film: The Outrun (Cert. 15):Corrie & Sannox Village Hall 7.30pm | entry by donation Tuesday 9th September: Adult Dance Workshop:In this friendly workshop run by Jane Greenstreet, Chantraine Dance Teacher for over 30 years, participants will be invited into a world of movement, music and poetry and the natural world. Chantraine Dance is a holistic dance approach that is suitable for all ages and abilities. Brodick Hall 7.30-9pm: 15 Wednesday 10th September: Living Stone: Mairi Campbell:The Fringe First winning show (2024) - Living Stone is a distinctive blend of live music, song and viola as well as striking visual art, creating a rich, multi-sensory experience highlighting the mystery and beauty of everyday life. Corrie & Sannox Village Hall 7.30pm: 15 Thursday 11th September: McLellan Arts Festival with Music Arran: Malin Lewis: Innovator, award winning, multi-instrumentalist Malin Lewis melds Scottish West coast tradition with a newly invented, self-made bagpipe alongside stars Sally Simpson (Fiddle) and Ali Hutton (Guitar). Hair tingling, philosophical and dance inducing melodies inspired by European folk traditions, queerness and the universe. Whiting Bay Hall 7pm: 15 Saturday 13th September: Childrens Dance Workshop: A friendly inclusive dance experience using movement, music and nature. Suitable for children aged 7 11 of all abilities, led by Chantraine Dance Teacher, Jane Greenstreet. No experience of dance necessary. Come and have fun.
