Musical at the Castle (18+)

Step into the wonderfully weird world of The Addams Family and bring this beloved cult classic to life in a real castle! This unique summer school invites aspiring performers of all levels to take part in an unforgettable theatrical journey—combining high-quality training with the thrill of staging a full-scale musical in a truly atmospheric setting. Over the course of two immersive weeks, students will dive into the quirky world of Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday and the rest of the ghoulish gang. From eerie ballads to spirited ensemble numbers, participants will rehearse and perform the entire show with support from experienced tutors and directors. The experience begins with a week of professional training and rehearsals, where students develop skills in acting, singing, and choreography. Participants will also get a taste of student life at Scotland’s national conservatoire, working in a dynamic and inspiring creative environment. In the second week, the adventure continues in a historic castle, where students live, rehearse, and prepare to perform in a spectacular final production set against a gothic backdrop that perfectly suits the Addams’ mysterious charm. Whether you're a seasoned performer or just beginning your journey in musical theatre, this summer school promises to ignite your creativity, build your confidence, and leave you with memories (and perhaps a few cobwebs) to last a lifetime.
