The Robert Burn’s Birthplace Museum is aptly located in Alloway, the village in which Burns was born. The Museum itself holds fascinating collections about the early years or Burn’s life, alongside themed events such as the Tam o' Banter – Comedy and Curry Night and also guided tours through the area.
There is a great café, serving up delicious home made hot food and a selection of cakes and sweet treats and tea and coffee. The Museum site is open daily from 10am -5pm with the cottage open from 11am-5pm.
