A lovely walk along the sandy and rocky coast of Ayrshire before cutting across the world renowned Turnberry Golf Course.
The walk starts in Givan Town Centre taking you past Noble’s Shipyard, one of the last working Shipyards on the Clyde. Some of the sights along the way are Gallow Hill, where punishments were given out by the once ruling Kennedy clan. Further along the walk takes you through Turnberry Golf, including the infamous 9th know as Bruce’s Castle, along a path between the fairways and across the runway of RAF Turnberry.
Girvan is a large town situated in South Ayrshire and is a popular visitor destination.
The village of Turnberry in South Ayrshire is now world famous due to the Turnberry Resort and golf course.
Maidens is a little coastal village situated on the Firth of Clyde at the southern end of Maidenhead Bay.
